CLINICAL TRIAL FUND ANNOUNCEMENT (OCTOBER, 2017)

Fund Update from Dr. Steven Albelda: Dr. Albelda and the team at Penn Medicine’s Abramson Cancer Center continue to seek funding for the FAP-CAR clinical trial. Most recently, Dr. Albelda submitted a large grant to the National Cancer Institute in September. In addition, we were also invited to submit a grant to “Stand Up to Cancer” (one of 5 groups selected). In the meanwhile, Dr. Toru Kimura is performing additional experiments in our mouse models to prove the efficacy of the CAR attacking human FAP.
