With the money the Fund has raised since inception, Dr. Albelda and the Penn Team have been successfully researching and performing baseline studies enhancing Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-Cell therapies in solid tumors which, in addition to the National Cancer Institute (NCI) grant in the amount of $10.7 million to support research over the next five years, just recently proved successful in treating heart fibrosis, with a continued concentration in developing and expanding the FAP-CAR T-Cell and NK-92 (the Terminator Cell Project) studies.

So, we have reached the Finish Line of The 5th Annual 5K Run/Walk. The cumulative success of these events continues to inspire us as we look forward to next year's event, The 6th Annual 5K Run/Walk.
